This ongoing study aims to explore, capture and understand models of personal illness belief and cognition among diabetics, while also assessing the presence or absence of depressive cognitions.
The participants will be divided into 6 sub-groups;
- newly diagnosed diabetics with and without coexisting depression
- more chronic diabetes with and without depression
- people, having a history of diabetes from 6 months to 5 years, with good and poor glycaemic control
